Blogger v. WordPress….who wins?
Posted by nicoleneff under Blogging, Photography | Tags: advice, computers, life, news, Random, technology |I’m thinking about switching from WordPress to Blogger. Does anyone out there use Blogger? I don’t really care for the templates on wordpress…they’re too limiting. If anyone has used Blogger and/or WordPress, would you care to give me the pros and cons?

We switched from blogger TO wordpress. I can’t stand the limitations in blogger. We also created our own template in wordpress as well. There are TONS of wordpress templates available you just have to host it yourself.

WordPress is far superior. You can pay for the CSS upgrade wordpress.com and mess around with your blog template - or go self-hosted with wordpress.org and have full control.
Blogger is an enormous headache.

I use blogger for a personal blog and wordpress for the church website - and would have to agreewith the above. Stick with wordpress.
They all have their headaches, unless you design and code your own, but wordpress seems much more flexible than blogger.

I switched from blogger to wordpress. I had used blogger for a while, for multiple blogs, but had started getting excessive spam comments. I switched over to wordpress and haven’t had any problems.
I’d keep your wordpress blog. It looks nice.
